The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System is a Joint Commission accredited, complexity level 1a facility serving over 76,000 unique Veterans in San Bernardino, Riverside, and Inyo Counties of Southern California. The Healthcare System operates 159 inpatient beds and a Community Living Center (Nursing Home) with 110 beds. In addition to the Medical Center, VA Loma Linda Healthcare System consists of Ambulatory Care Center, five contracted community clinics and one Telehealth clinic. In fiscal year 2020, with a medical care budget more than $686 million and over 3,000 employees, VALLHCS outpatient clinics logged more than a 900,000 outpatient visits, 1.1 million unduplicated encounters, providing over 63,000 total bed days of care and completed 7,000 total admissions. The VA Loma Linda Healthcare system Comprehensive Cancer Center, Loma Linda, CA is recruiting Hematology & Oncology Staff Physicians. Situated in our new Cancer Center on the VA Loma Linda campus, our Oncologists provide care to Veterans for a wide range of solid tumors as well as benign and malignant hematologic conditions. VA Loma Linda is staffed with the full complement of medical and surgical specialties. We are a major academic affiliate of Loma Linda University Health and a key part of the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship program. Additional on-site training programs include Surgical Oncology and Palliative Care. Duties include direct patient care, supervision of PA/NP and trainees, and consultative services to inpatients. Research and academic activities are strongly encouraged. Staff have faculty appointments and are actively involved with the education and training of Hematology/Oncology Fellows, Internal Medicine residents, and Medical Students. Must be BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology.

May qualify for reimbursement of relocation expenses in accordance with agency policy.
