Job Details

Cleveland Clinic's Department of Nuclear Medicine is currently seeking a Staff Radio Chemist.

Qualifications :
  • PhD in Chemistry or related degree
  • Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in radiochemistry laboratory for preparation of radiopharmaceutical doses for human use.
  • Experience in quality control and maintaining batch records.
  • Experience in preparing Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control chapters for FDA IND submissions.
  • Experience in laboratory management duties.

  • Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Develop and manage the radiochemistry synthesis program at Cleveland Clinic.
  • Establish and maintain USP capability for the laboratory.
  • Prepare CMC and related information for IND submissions.
  • Synthesis of novel compounds for preclinical and clinical research.
  • Teaching of radiochemistry topics to radiology residents and fellows
