Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate, is seeking an Endocrine/General Surgeon to join our organization.

Position Highlights –

• SUPPORTIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT: Join a team of well-established and multidisciplinary team of general surgeons, endocrinologist, radiologists, pathologists, advanced practice providers and nurses. Excellent support from the surgery division. Ability to participate in academic programs, conferences and lectures.

• STATE-OF-THE-ART SURGERY CENTERS: Opportunity to provide a wide range of endocrine and general surgery procedures in our state-of-the-art surgical centers offering the latest technology and surgical equipment. Regional presence at Baystate Medical Center, Baystate Franklin Medical Center and Baystate Noble Medical Center.
• ACADEMICS: Faculty appointment to the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine-Baystate. Opportunity to teach the next generation of Medical Students, General Surgery Residents & Endocrinology Fellows. The surgical academic program includes a general surgery residency, minimally invasive, surgical critical care and breast fellowships. The residency program has 7 chiefs per year. Our onsite simulation lab and robotic OR program are tied closely with the residency program.

Qualifications: Qualified applicants will be ABMS BC/BE in General Surgery and Endocrine Surgery and have a strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality and lifelong learning.
