Our primary mission remains true to the founders' intent. With our more than 570 employed specialty and primary care physicians, Einstein is able to provide the full spectrum of service to our community, from primary though quaternary care. Our service areas include North Philadelphia whose population has significant medical needs and socioeconomic challenges and Montgomery county an affluent suburb of Philadelphia. Our Department of Emergency Medicine includes 2 distinct Emergency Medicine Residency Programs, a Toxicology and an EMS fellowship. Einstein is known for its mission of commitment to our communities and has gained a reputation for excellence, compassion and innovation. In October 2021 EHN will join the Jefferson Healthcare Network as a full member of a large and innovative academic institution.
