Assistant Professor of Medicine at CUIMC
The Division of Nephrology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nephrologist at the Assistant Professor level to contribute to the clinical and educational missions of the division. Responsibilities will include outpatient care in General Nephrology, inpatient consultative services, and outpatient care of home, peritoneal and in-center dialysis patients. Teaching responsibilities will include the training of medical students, residents, and fellows.Scholarship in an area of interest is expected. The Columbia renal division is consistently ranked as one of the top nephrology divisions in the country and offers a great environment for career growth and development.
Applicants must have an M\D degree or equivalent, from an approved LCME medical school, and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency and nephrology fellowship from an ACGME accredited program. Candidate must be eligible for New York State medical licensure board eligible or certified in Nephrology by the date of hire.
