Nuvance Health Medical Group is seeking a Primary Care Physician for our Brewster Primary Care practice at in Brewster, NY (61 miles from NYC and 11 miles from Danbury). The Village of Brewster in Putnam County, NY is an historic community about an hour north of New York City, 30 minutes north of White Plains, 10 minutes from Connecticut and the City of Danbury reachable on the Harlem line of Metro North Commuter Railroad from NYC, and assessable to I-84 and I -684. You will work with two other physicians and a LCSW. We have a busy, established practice in a family-friendly location.

This is an employed position with Nuvance Health Medical Practice. Competitive total compensation package including base salary, incentive pay, paid time off, CME time off and allowance, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k match and contribution. Hiring bonus and relocation stipend may also be available.

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate primary care physician who will provide comprehensive care in a team-based environment to our population of patients. This includes not only caring for acute and chronic conditions, but working with multidisciplinary support staff to promote the health and well-being of all our patients. This as a full-time, office-based position providing outpatient services only, utilizing a state-of-the-art Electronic Health Record fully integrated across all our hospitals and sites.

Job Requirements:

• MD or DO with CT and NY State License, Federal DEA in both CT and NY and CT State Controlled Substance Registration
• Have successfully completed an Internal Medicine Residency
• Must be Board Certified or be Board Eligible
• Off-hour coverage – Shared among multiple providers, phone-calls only with nurse triage
• Willingness to work variable schedule 8 hour shifts Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Fridays 7:30 AM – 4 PM.
