Hospitalist Medical Director Opportunity

TeamHealth is seeking a hospitalist medical director to set the tone of the hospitalist program and lead a clinical team of providers to promote, support, and ensure the best patient care is delivered at Progress West Hospital located in O'Fallon, Missouri, a desirable suburb of the St. Louis, Missouri, metro. This role features trio rounding in place and a good representation of specialists on staff. This facility has an open ICU with co-management of patients with intensivists; no procedures are required. Enjoy a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate offers solid clinical skills and the ability to effectively communicate with patients, providers, nursing staff and administration. We are seeking a clinical leader who desires to be actively engaged with the hospitalist program and the hospital. We will consider internal medicine or family medicine trained physicians for this position.
