The hospital is an acute-care, not-for-profit teaching hospital that provides state-of-the-art care in cardiac, oncologic, orthopedic, surgical, and emergency services.

We currently have an exceptional opportunity for a full-time healthcare administrator, (Senior Vice President for Medical Affairs, Chief Medical Officer), to report to the CEO/ President as you oversee the effective management of our medical center, manage clinical operations and organization of the medical staff, plan/coordinate medical care, and ensure a high standard of care delivery to hospital patients by the medical staff. This position comes at a truly unique time where the external environment eagerly embraces innovation.

We require:

  • Doctor of Medicine
  • Completion of an ACGME approved residency
  • At least 10 years of physician leadership experience
  • At least 5 years of department management experience; preferably at the Department Chair Level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise in Performance Improvement and Medical Informatics
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License
  • Registration certificate with the Drug Enforcement Agency
  • Board Certification in a Medical Specialty
