We have an excellent opportunity for a physician to join our Extended Care Department to round on skilled nursing facility patients in the great Boston area.

  • Department consists of 5 MD and 10 Nurse Practitioners who cover (13) eighteen Tier 1 SNF's in greater Boston. This position covers around three Tier 1 facilities in the Greater Boston area
  • Call is infrequent & light; call is 1-9 weekday (telephonic only and with Telecom backup after 8 pm) and up to 4 weekend days/year.
  • Ideal candidate will be full time, but will consider part time

Qualifications:
  • BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Fellowship training in Geriatrics and/or inpatient experience as a Hospitalist is a plus.
  • Must be committed to providing high quality, evidenced based medicineto a diverse and growingpatient population
  • Possess excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience working in a geriatric environment is essential
