For nearly 30 years New Hanover Medical Group (NHMG) has been providing superior healthcare and wellness for the entire family. Based out of five locations, this group has 26 physicians on staff, including family medicine, pediatrics, and internal medicine, and continues growing to meet the needs of our community.   

Currently, NHMG is searching for a well-qualified and well-trained BE/BC FM or IM physician available 2021. Our physicians can elect to follow their own patients in the hospital or pursue oupatient only. Patients are admitted to New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Owned by New Hanover Regional Medical Center, recently named one of Forbes Top 50 Large employers.

Attractive call schedule ~ 1:23. Do have Peds back up for physicians who see pediatrics. Monday – Friday 8:30 – 5 pm. Have second largest volume lab east of I-95 and south of Atlantic Beach in NC. (south eastern NC). Profitability of Lab goes into the compensation pool. Equipment: CT Scanner, Ultrasound, Nuclear Studies, Plain films, Chest X-Ray, EKG. Nurse on each wing. 3 To 3.5 exam rooms per physician. The work schedule is 4 or 4.5 days per week. RVU Productivity model. Labs are done in each location. Our offices are located just a few miles from the beach and downtown Wilmington.
