BC/BE Infectious Diseases Physician
THE DIVISION OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES in the Department of Medicine at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School (HMS), seeks a BC/BE infectious diseases physician at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level for a full-time clinical position providing care to our immunocompromised host population.
This physician will serve as a clinician and educator with both inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities at the BIDMC with inpatient attending time largely focused on transplant ID and combined clinics with both the solid organ and hematologic transplant groups.
The Division of Infectious Diseases includes 30 full-time members with academic appointments at Harvard Medical School. The division has a strong basic and clinical research mission, provides superb teaching to students, residents, and fellows, and provides outstanding clinical care on a busy inpatient service with both general ID and immunocompromised patients.
