Position Description

For the past 8 years, Einstein Medical Center Montgomery has provided patients with access to a full range of medical care and surgical interventions delivered by a highly skilled medical team. Located on 87 acres along Germantown Pike in East Norriton, Pa., Einstein Medical Center Montgomery brings the exceptional experience of Einstein Healthcare Network to residents of central Montgomery County.

This is a multifaceted role, with three focuses:

Associate Medical Director - Einstein Care Partners

• Work closely with ECP Executive Director, Einstein Physicians Montgomery [EPM]/Einstein Medical Center Montgomery [EMCM] CMO & EPM Director of Quality on population health strategy for EPM accountable populations (ACO, pay for performance)
• Work closely with Practice Engagement Manager and Director of Quality to engage practices around population health initiatives
• Quarterly practice visits to review risk adjustment, quality, and care coordination initiatives and get feedback/suggestions from practice teams.
• Meet with individual physicians as needed for coaching, education, discuss concerns
• Participate in assessment quality and efficiency of care of EMCM market SNFs, especially qualitative assessment.
• Actively participate in strategy and tactics to improve care of ECP/EPM patients in need of post-acute care
• Support Palliative Care by attending Palliative Care workgroup meetings, educating PCPs in role of Palliative Care, benefits to PCPs and patients. Discussing at site visits. Supporting Einstein Palliative Care in discussions with SNFs. Serve as clinical consultant for ECP Risk Adjustment Strategy Program Manager to ensure alignment with needs of EPM physicians

Committee Assignments

• Member, ECP CPIC (Performance Improvement committee) (Quarterly meetings)
• Chair, EPM Quality Committee
• Attend monthly ECP Clinical Performance and Integration Team Meetings


• Serve as clinical leader on CPIC Quality Improvement workgroups as needed for Network wide initiatives (currently Colorectal cancer screening Improvement workgroup)

Lead Physician, EPM

• Provider primary care at one EPM primary care practice.
• Meet with individual physicians as needed for coaching, education, discuss concerns.
• MD/DO or foreign equivalent
• Must have or obtain PA license

Chief of Family Medicine, Einstein Physicians Montgomery

• Participates in the credentialing process for EMCM
• Represents the Division on hospital committees and task forces as requested and appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• MD or DO from an accredited US Medical School or Foreign Equivalent
• Completion of an ACGME Accredited Residency Program


• Completion of an ACGME Accredited Geriatrics Fellowship
• Board Certified/Board Eligible


• Fluent in Russian - preferred, but not mandatory
