As our practice continues to grow we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our EP team in a full-time position. We are a 24-physician group (42 total providers)  in a great location at the base of Pikes Peak. Specific Electrophysiology experience is required. We offer a generous compensation package in a busy production-based environment.

Advanced Practice Practitioners are key members of our cardiovascular team of non-invasive, invasive non interventional, interventional, and EP physicians. Our APPs collaborate with physicians and team members to care for patients in our practice at Penrose and St. Francis Hospitals, assisting with outpatient clinics, supervising stress tests, and consulting and rounding on cardiac inpatients. The key responsibility for this position is clinic support which consists of assessing, diagnosing, implementing treatment plans, collaborating with team members, and utilizing appropriate resources.

Requirements for Position:

  • Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program, Current License Required
  • At least two years cardiology experience preferred
  • Colorado NP or PA License and Prescriptive Authority/DEA
  • ACLS/BLS Certified

Colorado Springs Cardiology is a full service 42-provider cardiology practice aligned with Centura Health to provide comprehensive cardiology services to Penrose-St. Francis Hospitals in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Services provided include cardiac catheterization, percutaneous intervention, valvular intervention, heart failure management, structural heart program, electrophysiological procedures, and diagnostic Cardiovascular imaging.

Our APPs assist the physicians in providing both inpatient and outpatient care to our patients. They are partners in our efforts to provide state-of-the-art cardiology services.
