The VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System (VAAAHS) and the University of Michigan are seeking a full-time hematologist to provide outstanding care to Veterans with malignant and non-malignant hematologic disorders. The position is a full-time VA-funded position in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Responsibilities will include telehealth and in-person clinics, inpatient hematology consults, as well as educating medical students, residents, and fellows. Experience in treating patients with acute leukemias and myeloproliferative neoplasms is strongly desired. A leadership role as Director of the Leukemia Program could be provided to the appropriate candidate. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding and compassionate clinician and be board certified/board eligible in hematology. Holding or having the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the state of Michigan is required.

The VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System is closely affiliated with the University of Michigan Health System. An academic appointment in the University of Michigan Department of Internal Medicine and Division of Hematology-Oncology will be commensurate with experience.
