Academic Pediatric Neurologist Opportunity in Southern California
The Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Division of Pediatric Neurology, is seeking a full-time BE/BC Pediatric Neurologist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to join their team.
Our division is currently made up of 14 Pediatric Neurologists and a nurse practitioner and serves one of the largest geographical regions in the state of California and one of the largest children's hospitals in the country. The division provides comprehensive services in all aspects of neurological care, including general and sub-specialty outpatient clinics, inpatient care for a primary child neurology service run by junior and senior pediatric residents, consultation services to intensive care and step-down level patients with the assistance of senior pediatric residents. Hospital-based clinics are run using a multi-disciplinary approach alongside nurses, therapists, counselors, and social workers. Our four epileptologists interpret the majority of inpatient and outpatient EEGs and collaborate with our pediatric neurosurgeons to provide Level 4 Epilepsy Center evaluations for patients with intractable epilepsy. Our sub-specialty clinics include Neuromuscular, Multiple Sclerosis, Headache, Sleep, Autoimmune Encephalitis, Movement Disorders, Spasticity, Neurogenetics, Tuberous Sclerosis, Neurofibromatosis, Post-ICU Neurocritical Care, and Complex Epilepsy. Our team members also participate in multidisciplinary clinics providing comprehensive evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorders.
The division offers state-of-the-art care to children with neurological diseases in the inland Empire region of Southern California.
