Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate, is seeking a per diem Hospice and Palliative Care physician to join our Baystate Home and Hospice team in western Massachusetts.

Position Highlights:

•Support the hospice team with approving patients for hospice services, managing patients symptoms and addressing their needs.

•Attend Interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss hospice patients eligibility and address patients needs

•Collaborate closely with a vibrant hospice interdisciplinary team consisting of Social Work, Nursing, Spiritual Care Services, Nurse Practitioners and Physicians.

•Support the community palliative care nurse practitioners when needed.

•This position is per diem. Schedule offers flexibility providing great work/life balance.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be ABMS Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospice & Palliative Care Physician. Candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong computer skills, and have a commitment to patient-centered care.
