The Department of General Surgery at Cleveland Clinic is currently seeking applicants for an academic breast surgery position. Physician scientists with research in basic or translational laboratory science are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates should be Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery with fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology or Surgical Oncology.

The Cleveland Clinic Breast Center and the Taussig Cancer Center are renowned for multidisciplinary cancer care and are a national referral center. Our breast surgeons collaborate with outstanding plastic surgeons that provide state of the art care, such as lymphovenous bypass and immediate breast reconstruction. Within the Division of Breast Services, Breast Surgery and Medical Breast Services work closely such that breast surgeons can focus their efforts on the management of surgical breast disease. The Breast Center has achieved Full Accreditation from the American College of Surgeons' National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). Medical students, residents and fellows rotate on our service and interact with our breast surgeons frequently. A registered nurse care coordinator supports the practice of each of our surgeons to navigate multidisciplinary care across our institution. Dedicated research coordinators support our teams clinical trials and research protocols.
