Central City Concern is seeking a full-time Associate Medical Director to help lead efforts at the Hopper Detox facility in Portland, Oregon. This is a highly innovative non-profit agency focused on personal and community transformation through its comprehensive withdrawal management and stabilization services for those with substance use disorders. The ideal candidate will have the passion and skill to push this mission through outcome-based strategies, strategic agility and business acumen. Help lead a mission focused team providing highly impactful work throughout the Portland metro area.
Where You'll Work
Central City Concern's Hooper Detoxification Stabilization Center (often referred to as Hooper Detox), provides inpatient and outpatient withdrawal management and stabilization services for people seeking treatment for substance use disorders. Hooper Detox offers medical and clinical services, peer support, care coordination, 24-hour nursing and milieu support, and transition planning. Many of its staff are in recovery themselves and serve as reminders that recovery is possible. They often provide the first rays of hope for patients in their journey ahead.
