Central City Concern (CCC) is seeking a full-time Associate Medical Director to help lead the Hopper Detox facility in Portland, Oregon. CCC is a highly innovative non-profit agency focused on personal and community transformation. Hooper Detoxification Center admits 2500+ patients annually and provides expert comprehensive withdrawal management and stabilization services for those with substance use disorders in a fully staffed 24/7 facility with 24 hours nursing and treatment assistant teams. The ideal candidate will have the passion and skill to provide clinical leadership and uphold operational quality, safety and performance excellence with an operations dyad-partner. Help lead a mission focused team providing highly impactful work throughout the Portland metro area.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule

Where You'll Work

Central City Concern's Hooper Detoxification Stabilization Center (often referred to as Hooper Detox), provides inpatient and outpatient withdrawal management and stabilization services for people seeking treatment for substance use disorders. Hooper Detox offers medical and clinical services, peer support, care coordination, 24-hour nursing and milieu support, and transition planning. Many of its staff are in recovery themselves and serve as reminders that recovery is possible. They often provide the first rays of hope for patients in their journey ahead.

Central City Concern (CCC) is a nonprofit agency serving single adults and families impacted by homelessness, poverty and addiction in the Portland metro area. Founded in 1979, the agency includes nine clinics or recovery centers, where patients can access primary care, addiction treatment, mental health care, acupuncture, a pharmacy and housing and employment assistance. CCC has a staff of 900 helping more than 14,000 individuals every year to build healthy, resilient lives.
