RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Seeking Full-Time Generalists or Specialty Trained Anesthesiologists for Employment in Central NJ

RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School are seeking full-time generalists or specialty trained board-certified Anesthesiologists to meet the growing demand for care in Central New Jersey. These positions are based exclusively at Rutgers RWJ Medical School in New Brunswick. Acting as Assistant or Associate Professors within the medical school, faculty member responsibilities encompass academic duties along with clinical responsibilities. With 16 residents in the OR per day and a high percentage of cases covered by residents at all times, this role allows for career growth and unparalleled teaching opportunities.

Based in the heart of Central New Jersey in New Brunswick, this role is located in one of the largest cities of Middlesex County surrounded by fantastic school districts, vibrant restaurants, and local theaters and attractions. Along with being adjacent to educational institutions such as Rutgers University, this position allows for easy access into New York City and is just a short drive away from the famous waterfront views home to the Jersey Shore.

Successful candidates must be:

  • ABA board certified (or board-eligible for new graduates)
  • Completed an anesthesiology residency
  • NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ
  • Ideal candidates will have subspecialty fellowship training in pediatric or cardiac anesthesiology
