Full-Time Emergency Medicine Physician

Further your clinical career through our excellent opportunity for an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our emergency department (ED) team on a full-time basis at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, Connecticut. This is 78 Bed hospital, 12,000 ED Visits/year, 11 ED Beds, 1.3-1.7 patients per hour, 24-32 Phys hours/day, 0-8 APC hours/day, No Fast Track, Medium Acuity, 14% Admission Rate, 15% Peds, Medium Acuity, Non designated trauma center, No Scribes, No Admitting orders, No Floor Codes, and EMR Cerner. The partnership between Sharon Hospital and TeamHealth offers physicians the opportunity to practice medicine in northwestern Connecticut while enjoying access to a world-class network of Emergency Medicine physicians and career growth opportunities that are parallel to none. We are accepting applications from physicians who are board-certified or board-eligible and Residency Trained in Emergency Medicine with ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS. We are willing to consider New Grads and candidates who need to obtain CT license & CT Controlled Substance Registration for this location.
