Job Summary:
Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY, is seeking a full-time Medical Director.The Director is responsible for coordinating clinical activities and resources. This role includes the oversight and teaching of Advanced Practice Practitioners, providers, fellows, medical residents, nursing and ancillary staff. These responsibilities require broad MD neurology experience with expertise in epilepsy and a record of scientific interest, publications and clinical experience.
Training/License:
In addition to board certification or eligibility, the candidate must be able to obtain a New York State medical license. Salary and appointment commensurate with background and experience.

The Department of Neurology is comprised of multi-disciplinary teams of clinical experts that provide comprehensive neurological care for a wide range of neurological disorders affecting the brain, spine, nerves, and muscle. The conditions we treat range from neurologic emergencies, such as acute stroke or status epilepticus, to more chronic conditions such as headache/pain syndromes, epilepsy (seizures), neuromuscular (neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, muscular dystrophy), neuroimmunological (multiple sclerosis), as well as neurodegenerative (dementia) and movement disorders (Parkinson's disease).
