The Division of outpatient Psychiatry at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking academically focused psychiatrists to join a growing department of Harvard Medical School Faculty. Our primary base is a community clinic and hospital setting serving both, a diverse population of university students, and disadvantaged immigrant and minority populations obtaining care through Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA).

Specialty clinics within this division include first-episode psychosis, clozapine users, and chronic schizophrenia and bipolar populations, as well an HIV clinic, substance abuse division, and a trauma focused program. Academic appointments available from instructor through associate professor level at HMS (Harvard Medical School), according to the metrics for these Harvard appointments.

CHA is a well-respected, nationally recognized and award-winning public healthcare health safety net system, comprised of three hospital campuses and an integrated network of both primary and specialty outpatient care practices in Cambridge, Somerville and Boston's Metro North Region. It utilizes a fully integrated electronic medical record system (EPIC).

Successful Candidates will be BE/BC in Psychiatry with an MD or DO degree, have a passion for treating an underserved community population and will be expected to contribute to the department by teaching and supervising HMS residents. Candidates will also have the opportunity to participate in existing departmental research programs or those of interest.
