RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a Director of Cardiovascular Imaging and Non-Invasive Cardiac Laboratory Services at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is home to one of the country’s most widely respected heart transplant cardiac programs, offering advanced cardiovascular services across the entire spectrum of therapies that significantly improve quality of life for patients with heart disease and congenital heart defects. A great opportunity for an experienced provider to lead a team of advanced cardiac specialists and work in multidisciplinary teams with other cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and radiologists. In addition to leadership responsibility, this role includes providing oversight, direction, and clinical support in advanced cardiovascular imaging to our structural, interventional, and advanced heart failure/transplant programs, as well as participation in both inpatient consult and CCU services and outpatient clinical outreach activities. The ideal candidate should be experienced in multi-modality imaging, echo, structural interventions, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and non-invasive clinical activity.

Requirements:

  • ABIM Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Board Certified in Echocardiography
  • Fellowship in Advanced Cardiac Imaging
  • Level 3 for nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac CT, and MR
  • NJ licensed or eligible for licensure
  • Prior leadership experience
