Cleveland Clinic Childrens seeks an additional Pediatric Nephrologist to join our growing Center for Pediatric Nephrology. The position requires an MD, DO or its foreign equivalent as certified by a credentials evaluation or ECFMG certificate and Board Certification/Eligibility in Pediatric Nephrology. Candidates at all academic ranks will be considered.

The Cleveland Clinic Childrens Center for Pediatric Nephrology is the top-ranked pediatric nephrology program in Northeast Ohio and has a strong commitment to research as evidenced by members who are NIH-funded and active participation in national research networks including: CKID, NAPRTCS, SCOPE, NEPTUNE, CURE-GN and PNRC (formerly MWPNC). At present the Center is staffed by 4 board-certified pediatric nephrologists and 1 nurse practitioner with a plan to grow to include a fifth board-certified pediatric nephrologist. With the help of 15 dedicated support personnel the team provides more than 4,000 outpatient visits and 1,700 dialysis treatments per year, including outpatient dialysis at a dedicated pediatric dialysis unit. Center members work in close collaboration with our team of pediatric urologists, top-ranked adult Nephrology and Kidney Transplant program members, and the Lerner Research Institute in support of clinical care and basic, clinical, and translational research.

Cleveland Clinic Childrens Hospital is one of the best childrens hospitals by U.S. News & World Report with 389 staffed beds across all Northeast Ohio-based locations. The more than 300 physicians of Cleveland Clinic Childrens Hospital have expertise across 55 pediatric medical and surgical specialties, and provide over 1 million outpatient visits, support 20,000 inpatient admissions, more than 10,000 surgeries, and accept over 1,600 transports per year from around the nation and globe.
