Please take a moment to consider a private practice opportunity with Virginia Oncology Associates (VOA). Virginia Oncology Associates has been providing care to patients in Hampton Roads and northeastern North Carolina for over 25 years. VOA has many of the same capabilities as major teaching hospitals and hospital based cancer programs, and offers many of the same services larger facilities do, in a comfortable community setting. Virginia Oncology Associates specialized physicians, nurses and supportive staff specialize in both malignant and benign diseases of the blood, all forms of adult cancer and complex gynecologic care and malignancies. In addition, VOA provides expertise and support to those in need of hospice care and pain management. Virginia Oncology Associates offers an extensive clinical research program, participating in clinical trials with the Cancer and Leukemia Group B (CALGB), National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Cancer Project (NSABP), the Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG) the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG), National Cancer Institute (NCI), Duke Oncology Consortium and US Oncology. We are currently seeking a BC/BE Gynecologic Oncologist to join three other Gyn/Onc physicians. VOA is comprised of 35 physicians specializing in medical oncology, hematology, gynecologic oncology, diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine and radiation oncology.
