Job Details

Cross Country locums is working with Los Angeles County to assist with Physician Coverage specific to COVID Positive patients in the homeless community. Part of the mitigation strategy includes a work from home position for which there are meetings and project updates with the Outbreak Management Branch. The position is a required M-F 40 hour work week. This is a predominantly administrative position for Physicians and outside of the work from home role, this position requires site visits a couple of days a week to meet with adminstrative leaders running the unique sites where the COVID-19 positive outbreaks have occurred. The County is looking for Physician partners that have a strong background in public health or infection control. Nursing staff at the unique work sites conduct testing while the Physician provides clinical expertise and consultation to the outbreak location. The County would like to get assistance as soon as possible (1-2 weeks before start) and the position will run for 3-6 months. This position is LOCAL only for Los Angeles doctors.
