Join Indiana University Health Physicians and System Health Solutions group in a Lead Physician role in the Indianapolis area! Our System Health Solutions group includes our Urgent Care facilities and our Business Solutions employee sponsored clinics. We are seeking a patient focused Lead Physician with a philosophy of collaboration and teamwork. This role is 80% clinical and 20% administrative.

Position Details:
  • Leads, manages, directs and is accountable for all practice clinical services for our Urgent Care and Business Solutions locations
  • Responsible for appropriateness, quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the medical care provided by our physicians and advanced practice providers
  • Develop and implement policies and guidelines, assess clinical activities and performance, maintain and enhance teaching and clinical research opportunities
  • Participate with senior leadership teams in implementing system protocols, policies and procedures for evidence-based medicine practices
  • 16 hours per week of administrative time; 9 clinical shifts per month within our Urgent Care practices
  • Shifts in urgent care include 12-hour shifts (weekdays 8a-8p); may include an occasional 10-hour weekend shift
  • Physician oversight duties for our Urgent Care and our Business Solutions advanced practice providers

Qualifications:
  • Must be MD or DO
  • BC in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or Urgent Care required
  • Emergency medicine and/or urgent care experience preferred
  • Occupational medicine experience preferred
  • 3-5 yrs of progressive leadership experience preferred
