The Division of Adult Outpatient Psychiatry at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking a distinguished academic leader with experience in ambulatory psychiatric care to serve as Medical Director of Outpatient Psychiatry at the level of Associate Professor of Psychiatry or Professor of Psychiatry at the Harvard Medical School (HMS). Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is a well-respected, nationally recognized and award-winning public healthcare system consisting of three hospital campuses and an integrated network of both primary and specialty outpatient care practices in Cambridge, Somerville and Boston's Metro North Region. It utilizes a fully integrated electronic medical record system(EPIC).

The successful candidate will be expected to provide clinical and administrative leadership for the Adult Ambulatory Psychiatry Service at The Cambridge Hospital and develop a first-rate teaching program for psychiatry residents, medical students and other trainees in ambulatory psychopharmacology, as well as integrate population- based research into evidence-based care for this diverse population.

Appointment as an Associate Professor of Medicine or Professor of Medicine, Full-Time, at HMS will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities. Suitable candidates will have an MD or an MD-PhD.
