Job Details
This is a position involving clinic, inpatient rounding and Reads (EKG/ECHOs)
Open Dates : starting as soon as credentialed.
Desired schedule:
Hours M-F 8a-4:30p
Can get there at 7:30a to huddle w APPs at hospital and get started before clinic
Call rotation: weeknight/weekend call rotation 1:6 (once every 6 th night and 6 th weekend)
Weeknight call M-F 4:30p-8a
Verifying start/end of weekend call
Scope of work:
Work in clinic seeing avg of 22 ppd
Inpatient rounds on the cardiac service avg 30ppd (split w 2 APPs)
Will huddle each morning w/2 APPs to split the patients/rounding responsibilities
No procedures
ECHOS and EKG reads
Reads volume
Up to 30 ECHO per day
Up to 30 EKG reads per day
They will have other readers assisting with reads:
1 reader does EKG and event monitors
1 does other images and ECHOS
Avg call back on nights/ weekends - 0-2 calls per night, 6-8 per weekend
Will round on patients on the service on weekends.
ED and Hospitalist service do the admissions
