Cognitive Behavioral Immersion Intensive Outpatient Program

To meet the needs of Summit Health's Behavioral Health population, the Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy Center is seeking a full-time qualified professional to help develop and participate in its newly created CBT Immersion/Intensive Outpatient Program. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in helping to develop and promote this program to the professionals at Summit Health while working closely with referring physicians and providers.

The program will be targeting a relatively high functioning population that is currently struggling with a mental health issue that requires more intensive treatment. The goal of the program is to return participants to their normal level of functioning in a maximum of 4-6 weeks. The program will consist of 2-3 half-days per week consisting of group, individual and psychiatry treatment. The newly hired candidate will report directly to the service line chief of behavioral health and work to show success and value of the program.

To qualify, a Master's Degree (Doctorate preferred), along with a NJ License in Social Work, Professional Counseling or Psychology is required and at least 3 years experience treating a sophisticated outpatient population.

Education, Certification, Computer and Training Requirements:

· Master's degree required. Doctorate Degree (includes PhD' s) preferred.

· NJ State License in Social Work or Psychology required.

· 3 years experience at the Master's degree level required, 5+ years preferred. 1 year at the Doctorate level 3 years preferred.

· 2 years experience working in an adult intensive outpatient treatment program

· Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing required.

· Training and experience in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy preferred.

· Experience with Standard Office Equipment (Phone, Fax, Copy Machine, Scanner, Email/Voice Mail) preferred.

· Experience with Standard Office Technology in a Window based environment preferred.
