Hartford HealthCare represents the next generation of integrated health systems, marked by strong patient focus, heightened efficiency, consistent quality performance and open, collaborative sharing of best practices. Founded in 1986, HHC has grown to a $4 billion healthcare system with 33,000 employee/colleagues. The Chair will also oversee the educational endeavors of the Department, supporting a stimulating environment for residents and students and providing exposure to scholarly activity. SVMC has been training physicians for more than 60 years, primarily in collaboration with Frank H. Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University.
