Duke Neurosurgery is seeking a talented vascular neurosurgeon with expertise in endovascular treatment of ischemic stroke and vascular pathology. Hired neurosurgeon will join our team of dedicated Neurosurgeons and Neurologists providing unparalleled care to our stroke patients. The practice includes neurosurgical & neurovascular inpatient consults, acute & elective surgery and neurovascular interventions. Leadership skills are a plus.
Ideal candidate would be dual trained with fellowships in both cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery, have experience providing care at a Comprehensive Stroke Center, and have a passion for education and research. Hired physician will enjoy exceptional facilities and a multidisciplinary collaborative approach to cerebrovascular care. This position may also include a Medical Directorship of the Stroke Program and a Co-Directorship of the Cerebrovascular and Stroke Center.
Duke Neurosurgery offers generous compensation and benefits including college tuition assistance for dependent children. Faculty rank and compensation will be commensurate with training and experience.
