The Department of Pathology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a principal teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, is seeking an academically oriented, board certified Hematopathologist, with appropriate training, established diagnostic skills, and an established research interest in use of spatial transcriptomics to study lymphoma pathogenesis.

The successful applicant’s duties will be split between an active research program and the Hematopa­thology Service, based in the Anatomic Pathology Division, with responsibilities in­cluding interpretation of bone marrow aspirates and biopsies, lymph nodes, and associated immunohistochemistry and molecular testing, as well as fellow and resident teaching.

The Department is staffed by more than 120 faculty and more than 55 residents and clinical fellows in anatomic and clinical pathology in a predominantly subspecialty-oriented model. The Department collectively handles over 85,000 surgical specimens annually, has a busy Center for Advanced Molecular Diagnostics. and is responsible for provision of pathology services at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where there is a high volume of hemato-oncology.

The environment provides substantial opportunities for clinical, translational, and more basic research. Applicants should be committed to excellent pa­tient care, as well as teaching, scholarship, and research.

Academic rank (at Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor) and compensation will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments. Basic annual salary range will be $200,000 - $260,000.
