General Medical Oncologist/Hematologist

Hartford HealthCare, the largest integrated healthcare delivery system in Connecticut, seeks a BC/BE medical oncologists/hematologist to join a rapidly growing practice in a prime location within the state. The mission of Hartford Healthcare Cancer Institute which oversees over 40 oncologists is on the highest quality patient centered multidisciplinary care, patient experience and clinical research trial enrollment. Over the past 7 years we have partnered with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and developed a collaborative relationship for oversight of standards of care, education and clinical research.

The extensive capabilities of the most integrated system in CT offer physicians MORE OPPORTUNITY to practice with nationally respected colleagues in a progressive, physician led environment.

The successful candidates for this position will support growth of the existing practices, engage in the development of personal subspecialty interest(s) and participate in system wide Cancer Institute initiatives.

The position is located in the foothills of Litchfield County, Northwest Connecticut. The candidate will join an existing practice of two Oncologist/Hematologists plus a nurse practitioner. A dedicated Infusion center is available onsite for providing services to a wide range of both oncology and hematology patients.
