The Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Medical Center, in conjunction with the University Of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC), is seeking a full-time pulmonary/critical care specialist. The Medical Center is a tertiary care facility serving Oklahoma and part of northern Texas and an integral part of the educational and research mission of the OUHSC.


QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates will be considered who are U.S. or naturalized citizens. Candidates must be Board Certified/Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and have an unrestricted license to practice in a state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.


POSITION SUMMARY: The candidate will participate in patient care, teaching, and research related to pulmonary/critical care diseases. He/she will apply national and VA guidelines to patient management of such diseases. The incumbent must be proficient in routine and advanced bronchoscopic and pleural procedures. Strong research experience is preferred. Candidate must qualify for a faculty appointment at the OUHSC.
