Woodhull Medical Center’s Department of Medicine, an affiliate of NYU Langone Grossman School of Medicine, is dedicated to exceptional patient care, cutting-edge scientific research, and outstanding medical education.

We are recruiting a full-time Hospitalist to join our clinical team. Hospitalists supervise residents on a busy inpatient service. Teaching and supervision is a major component of the position. The Department of Medicine has 57 residents and is fully accredited by the ACGME. Hospitalists are expected to fully participate as faculty members in the training program and as such are eligible for academic appointments at Woodhull Medical Center, the residency sponsoring institution.

Candidates must be comfortable managing patients through the continuum of hospital care- including requesting appropriate tests, medication management,  specialty consults, coordinating the care of nursing and support staff, writing discharge and follow-up notes, and communicating with the patient’s primary care physician.

Board Certification or board eligible in Internal Medicine is a must.
