About the area
Loma Linda University is located between Los Angeles and Palm Springs in an area known as the Inland Empire. Nestled at the foot of the San Bernardino mountains, we have convenient access to beach cities, skiing, hiking, and a variety of other outdoor activities. This region also has excellent private and public-school systems.

“Opening in spring 2021, the new Loma Linda University Medical Center tower on the Dennis and Carol Troesh Medical Campus will stand at 268 feet — making it the tallest hospital in California. But what's truly exciting is the impact this transformation will make on the region as it advances our ability to continue providing excellent healthcare. The new Medical Center tower is more than a building; it's a beacon of hope for brighter, better tomorrows in this community.”
