The Neurological Institute and Department of Neurological Surgery at Cleveland Clinic is seeking full time Spine Neurosurgeons for the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital and Level I Trauma Center. Located in Akron, OH, the Akron General Neurosurgery Center is a rapidly growing component of the Cleveland Clinics regional program development.

Interested applicants must be American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS) BC/BE neurosurgeons with a high degree of competency in Spine. Preferred candidates will have completed fellowship training in spine neurosurgery. Surgical volume consists of trauma, spine and general neurosurgery cases. State of the art medical equipment including Gamma Knife and 1.5 Tesla intraoperative MRI, intraoperative Brainlab Brain Suite and Biplanar angiography. Outstanding support will be provided by an established Neuro-ICU team of fellowship trained neurointensivists and cerebrovascular neurosurgeons. The Neurosurgery Center is further supported by an aligned primary care group, medical spine support and an active cancer program that will help establish a broad range of neurosurgery.

The newly recruited neurosurgeons will participate in general neurosurgery and trauma call (1:4). Additional responsibilities would include clinical care, teaching and could include research activities.
