Cleveland Clinic is seeking candidates for the position of Director, Center for Pediatric Allergy and Immunology within the Pediatric Institute of Cleveland Clinic Childrens. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who will lead a world-class academic program, is nationally recognized for his/her experience and accomplishments in clinical care, teaching and research, and has previous leadership experience. This candidate will also possess experience in implementing quality initiatives, as well as clinical protocols. Board certification in Allergy/Immunology and eligibility for licensure in Ohio are required. The successful applicant will also be nominated for a faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with academic accomplishments at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University , one of the nations leading Universities. The Center for Pediatric Allergy and Immunology, with four faculty members currently, provides a variety of outpatient and inpatient services for children suffering from common and unusual allergic and immunologic disorders. We are also actively involved in research to ensure pediatric patients receive leading edge treatment and care. The Pediatric Allergy/Immunology group works in strong collaboration with our Adult Allergy/Immunology colleagues, including opportunities in clinical expansion, research and education. The shared Allergy and Immunology Fellowship program is one outstanding example of our collaborative approach, as is our newly launched Food Allergy Center of Excellence.

Cleveland Clinic Childrens is ranked one of the best childrens hospitals by U.S. News & World Report with 389 staffed beds across all Northeast Ohio-based locations. The more than 300 physicians of Cleveland Clinic Childrens have expertise across 55 pediatric medical and surgical specialties, and provide over 800,000 outpatient visits, support 13,000 inpatient admissions, more than 10,000 surgeries, and accept over 1,600 transports per year from around the national and globe.
