Job Details

The Department of Allergy & Clinical Immunology at Cleveland Clinic is recruiting for our state of the art, multidisciplinary Food Allergy Center.

Our Department is one of the largest in the United States, and is committed to excellence in patient care, research, education and advocacy. The Department is a dynamic, collaborative group and there is ample opportunity and support for clinical research as well as professional growth.

This Department supports a program focused on understanding the mechanisms of food allergy and investigating new approaches to treat and prevent food allergy, including food allergy-associated anaphylaxis and food allergy-associated eosinophilic gastrointestinal disease. The department also supports research aimed at immune and barrier abnormalities in atopic dermatitis, the role of the skin microbiome, and the relationship among atopic dermatitis, food allergy, and other atopic diseases. Furthermore, emphasis will be placed on providing evidence-based care, understanding the natural history of allergic diseases, and developing new immune-based approaches to prevent and treat allergic diseases --- including therapies that can induce tolerance.

This position commands a competitive salary enhanced by an attractive benefits package and a collegial work environment. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.
