Pediatric Hospitalist - Per Diem

The Department of Pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens is looking for Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalists to work on a per diem basis in Flushing, Queens. This is an outstanding opportunity for a pediatrician with an interest in joining a new and developing pediatric hospitalist program to provide clinical services to patients requiring an intermediate level of care. Highlights include:

  • Provide inpatient care to children on the general pediatric floor and the new 4 bed intermediate care unit.
  • Provide consultations and co-management of surgical sub-specialty patients.
  • Educate pediatric residents, medical students and PA students both on rounds and in formal lectures. Opportunities are available for leadership and scholarly activities specifically in policy development and quality improvement projects of the intermediate care unit.


NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens , located in Flushing, is the largest voluntary hospital in Queens and serves patients throughout the borough and beyond.
