The Section of Cardiovascular Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) is seeking a hospitalist to manage inpatients on the intermediate cardiovascular care unit.

The successful candidate will be board certified in Internal Medicine with an interest in cardiovascular medicine. Patient care responsibilities are primarily overnight coverage and admitting for cardiology inpatients, in collaboration with internal medicine residents, cardiology fellows and attendings. The cardiology hospitalist is responsible for urgent care for patients already admitted as well as the evaluation of new admissions, with performance of histories, physicals and plans of care. The successful applicant will be expected to work closely with our clinical faculty and referring physicians. The hospitalist also has opportunities for engagement in daytime cardiovascular testing, education and research.

The Section of Cardiovascular Medicine comprises approximately 40 cardiologists, 15 associate practice providers, 17 fellows, and 140 support staff. and boasts state-of-the-art facilities in a scenic four-season rural setting.

This position holds a title at the Geisel School of Medicine commensurate with experience.
