Director of Heart Failure – Westchester, Northern Westchester Hospital and Phelps Hospital
Northwell Health Cardiology is seeking a Director of Heart Failure for the Westchester region to join our team of cardiologists and cardiac surgeons and help expand our advanced heart failure / mechanical support / transplant program. In this role, you will lead the Heart Failure programs across our two Westchester campuses at Northern Westchester Hospital and Phelps Hospital. Northwell Health Cardiology has seen tremendous recent growth in New York City, Westchester, and Long Island and strives to provide comprehensive, integrated care and wellness services.
The Advanced Heart Failure program of Northwell Health is a multi-disciplinary team including heart failure cardiologists and surgeons, trainees, nurse practitioners and registered nurses, as well as pharmacy, behavioral health, social work, and nutritional services. We offer the full spectrum of care to the advanced heart failure patient, including cardiopulmonary exercise testing, hemodynamic monitor implantation, LVAD and transplant, advanced imaging, electrophysiology, and participation in investigator-initiated and sponsored clinical trials.
This is a full-time, academic position with vast clinical, research, and teaching opportunities. The ideal candidate will be board-eligible/board-certified in advanced heart failure. Additional interest in cardiopulmonary stress testing and/or pulmonary hypertension is a plus. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
