Palliative Care - NP / PA

Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) is recruiting for a Board Certified Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with minimum two years of experience in Palliative Care or related specialty.

Details:

• Provides patient care to Palliative Care patients and their families in multiple inpatient settings at a mid-size urban hospital utilizing comprehensive patient assessment, development and implementation of a plan of care and patient education, and ongoing evaluation.
• The care delivered will be based on theoretical principals and scientific knowledge and within the scope of the California Nurse Practice Act.

Location: Berkeley & Oakland - CA

• Capable of working collaboratively with clinicians and other members of interdisciplinary team Knowledgeable about current best practices in the field of hospice & palliative medicine
• Proficient in complex symptom management for serious illness
• Dedicated to improving the care of seriously ill patients, and their families

Requirements:

• Nurse Practitioner: California Registered Nursing License, California Nurse Practitioner License
• Physician Assistant: California PA license, National Certification
• Current California Furnishing license (NP) DEA license (Schedule 2-5)
• BLS certification
