Academic Cardiologist

The Division of Cardiology at Stony Brook University Hospital is recruiting a full-time academic cardiologist at the Assistant, Associate Professor levels to practice in the largest hospital in Suffolk County, serving the eastern half of Long Island.

The successful applicant become an integral part of an established, growing, innovative, and highly awarded faculty practice charged with delivering excellent patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing mentorship and teaching to cardiology fellows, medical residents, and students while working within the context of an academic program to support (through clinical activity or leadership through scholarly activity) an active clinical/translational research program. Applicants should possess outstanding clinical, technical, and interpersonal skills, be board certified in Internal Medicine and BC/BE in cardiovascular disease, and must be licensed in the state of New York by the time of appointment.
