The Department of Medicine at Albany Medical College is seeking an Infectious Disease trained physician interested in academic medicine. The successful candidate will be board certified in infectious disease; and eligible for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Candidates with experience in hospital epidemiology, antimicrobial stewardship, and/or clinical investigation; and unique interest in nontuberculous mycobacterial infections, HIV, Lyme disease, and/or chronic osteomyelitis are preferred.

Albany Medical College is one of the nation’s oldest medical schools, having been founded in 1839, and is affiliated with the adjacent Stratton VA Medical Center. Albany Medical Center Hospital is the only academic tertiary and quaternary care hospital in the Capital District region of New York, serving a referral base of 2.5 million people, and receiving 12,000 transfers annually.
