Providence Medical Group is seeking a dentist to serve as the inaugural program director for its new General Practice Residency (GPR). This is an extraordinary opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to design a GPR from its inception. Providence St. Peter Hospital is a 390-bed regional referral center on a 173-acre campus in downtown Olympia. Listed in U.S. News and World Report as one of the top 5 Best Regional Hospitals in Washington for 2019, St. Peter offers a respected family medicine residency program and has a Level III trauma center, as well as a 24-hour stroke service. Providence St. Peter has earned Nursing Magnet status and been ranked in the top 4 percent of hospitals in the nation.

- This opportunity will appeal to candidates who have a passion for providing care to underserved patient populations
- Priority will be given to general dentists with previous experience in hospital dentistry, community health centers, dental education and leadership
- Surgical experience with ability to teach surgical skills is highly desired
- Completion of a GPR or an AEGD program is required
