Job Details

Seeking full-time, board-eligible/board-certified Anesthesiologist to join an established 38-person practice at the renowned Providence Sacred Heart Children's Hospital. This group has low turnover and is currently hiring to cover retiring physicians. Work with a team that has excellent camaraderie while covering a wide variety of specialties, including complex pediatric and open heart cases that are covered by subgroups within the practice. Majority of this practice is located at a 600-bed, tertiary-care hospital with the remaining ten percent covering a small community hospital and an outpatient facility. Serve in a diverse practice setting and experience a healthy work-life balance in Spokane, Washington.
  • Cardiac or pediatric fellowship trained applicants preferred
  • Starting salary is above the average for residents graduating in 2021
  • Flexible vacation scheduling, starting at 8 weeks
  • Call equally distributed; 10 days for weekday call and every 6th weekend
  • Challenging case mix that maintains technical skills
  • No experience required

Where You'll Work

Providence Sacred Heart Children's Hospital, a member of the National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions, includes more than 90 pediatric sub-specialists on the medical staff. The 18-bed emergency department is the only dedicated children's emergency care and Level II Pediatric trauma center in the inland northwest region. With 37 general, 18 oncology and 20 intensive-care beds available for young patients, this tightly integrated team understands the special physical and emotional needs of children.
