Outpatient Psychiatrist - Multi-Specialty Group, Plymouth, MA

Outpatient Psychiatrist for a large community-based, behavioral health care organization that offers a continuum of services including adult behavioral health, substance abuse counseling, children's behavioral health, day services, autism services and early childhood services throughout New England. Provide oversight of delivery of medical care by clinical staff through direct supervision and audits; serves as a mentor and manages the resolution of practice related problems of provider staff. Provide professional oversight for advanced practice nurses' and doctors. Provide direct client care. Serve as a resource for consultation and referral for providers from other disciplines. Initiates and supports efforts to promote wellness concepts and self-responsibility for healthcare. Assume oversight for the quality improvement system incorporating quality outcome indicators. Develop and updates medical care policies, protocols and procedures. Participate in the development and implementation of guidelines and procedures for client care and service delivery. Collaborate in the development of a continuing medical education policy and assures oversight of compliance. Consult with the Hiring Manager and appropriate Administrative staff on staff selection, evaluation, and termination of advanced practice nurses and doctors. Coordinate the clinic's relationship with community hospitals and psychiatric emergency services. Provide client evaluation for development of the medical component of treatment plans
