The department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Cleveland Clinic is seeking a full-time OB/GYN Hospitalist for our Maternity Centers in Northeastern Ohio. The Cleveland Clinic has 3 Maternity Centers located in the Cleveland metropolitan region, CC Fairview Hospital on the west side, CC Hillcrest Hospital on the east side, and CC Main Campus Hospital. Fairview & Hillcrest Hospitals have busy obstetrical units, with each hospital anticipating between 4000-5400 deliveries annually. Main Campus Hospital provides specialized care for up to 200 deliveries annually. Candidates should be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with clinical experience to support the full scope of hospital based obstetrical and gynecologic care. The OB/GYN hospitalist is a critical part of our group practice model and assists with perinatal safety at each maternity center. This position balances clinical and academic responsibilities, including supervision of OB/GYN residents and medical students. The Hospitalist will work shifts of 12 to 24 hours in duration. Depending on the location the Hospitalist will be part of a team that includes laborists, OB/GYN hospitalists, in house on call OB/GYN specialists, MFM specialists, nurse midwives, and advanced practice providers in addition to residents and medical students. The Cleveland Clinic is an academic teaching hospital with a full range of residency and fellowship programs. OB/GYN Subspecialty support is provided for each of our maternity units. Faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
